Day 1:

Our journey begins from Cochin International airport where the group meets assisted by our travel assistant, we are all set. The adventure begins when we land at Noi Bai International Airport. Transferred to the heart of Hanoi, the day unfolds with a city tour. Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple offer glimpses into the city's rich history. The day concludes with shopping in the vibrant Hanoi Old Quarter. The journey through Vietnam sounds like an exciting and culturally enriching experience. Dating back to the 6th century, Tran Quoc Pagoda is a living testament to Vietnam's rich religious and cultural history. As visitors wander through the pagoda's courtyards and halls, they can explore ancient artifacts and statues, each with its own symbolic significance in Buddhism.

3. Hoan Kiem Lake:

The lake is surrounded by legends, and its name translates to "Lake of the Returned Sword." The Ngoc Son Temple, situated on an islet in the lake, honours national hero Tran Hung Dao. Ngoc Son Temple, located on Jade Island in Hoan Kiem Lake, is dedicated to several deities, including Tran Hung Dao. Crossing the bright red Huc Bridge translated as the "Morning Sunlight Bridge,"  is a beautifully arched wooden bridge that adds to the scenic charm of the lake. Its vibrant red colour represents prosperity and happiness in Vietnamese culture, and crossing it gives visitors a sense of stepping into a realm where history and nature coalesce. Visitors can explore artifacts and learn more about the temple's history. Gracefully situated on an islet in the northern part of the lake is Ngoc Son Temple, a focal point of spiritual reverence. The temple is dedicated to various national heroes, including Tran Hung Dao and Van Xuong.

As the day progresses, the lakeside pathways become a popular spot for leisurely strolls, casual conversations, and picnics.

Turtle Tower: Adds a touch of mystique to the lake and is located on a small island near the centre. This tower, rising elegantly from the water, is a symbol of the sacred creatures associated with the lake's legends. Turtles are considered a symbol of longevity and wisdom in Vietnamese culture.

5. Hanoi Old Quarter:

The Hanoi Old Quarter, known locally as "36 Pho Phuong" or the "36 Streets," is a charming and historic district that has been the heartbeat of Hanoi for over a thousand years. Stepping into the Old Quarter is like entering a living museum where each street has its own tale to tell.

The Old Quarter's narrow streets are lined with colonial-style buildings, tube houses, and traditional Vietnamese storefronts. The architecture reflects a blend of French colonial influences and ancient Vietnamese design, creating a unique and visually captivating atmosphere.

Days 2-3 mark a transition from urban exploration to a serene encounter with nature in Halong Bay.
